INFECTION CONTROL 2007

In May 2007 we attended the PSCA organised Infection Control Conference at the Barbican, London.  The aim of the event was to examine the current agenda concerning the reduction of Health Care Associated Infections across all NHS bodies.

National Awarding Body NCFE exhibited and ran workshops on the value of accredited vocational qualifications, and the range of training delivery options available. 

NCFE offer a wide range of qualifications for the Health, Public Services and Care sector, qualifications highlighted at the event were;
NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Infection Control
NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Understanding and Prevention of MRSA

These qualifications can be delivered to learners either in the workplace, through local further education colleges or by distance learning.
