Qualification Update

Level 1 Certificate in Employment Skills
This will be updated to remove duplication and to bring the content up to date. A draft version of the new Qualification Specification will be available in July.

Level 2 Certificate in Employment Skills
This will be updated to remove duplication and to bring the content up to date. The title  is also changing, so from 1 September 2008 the qualification will have a new QCA Accreditation number. However don’t worry – if you’re already approved to run the current version of the qualification, you’ll automatically get approval to run this new version starting 1 September 2008. A draft version of the new Qualification Specification will be available in July.

Level 2 Award for Developing Enterprise Capabilities
Level 2 Certificate for Developing Enterprise Capabilities
These qualifications will be updated to make them less focused on business enterprise, and to make the learning outcomes clearer and easier to follow. A draft version of the joint new Qualification Specification will be available in July.

The following qualifications will be extended with no changes to their content or structure:

♦ NCFE Level 1 Certificate in Personal Money Management
♦ NCFE Entry Level Certificate in ICT
♦ NCFE Entry Level Certificate in Making Progress
♦ NCFE Entry Level Certificate in Working Together
♦ NCFE Entry Level Certificate in Solving Problems
